BENCHMARKING ORDINANCE FACILITATION (Kansas City, Missouri) Get help with complying with the City of Kansas City, Missouri benchmarking ordinances free of charge.
BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES (Kansas City, Kansas) Visit the site to learn about rebates for the installation of electric heating equipment, electric or dual fuel heat pumps, electric resistance heating systems, and new electric water heaters. They also offer rebates to all-electric apartments for new or retrofit heat pumps and electric water heaters.

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES FOR BUILDINGS (National, Commercial & Multifamily) The Emerging Technologies (ET) Program supports the integration of affordable, energy-saving technologies, strategies, analytical tools, and information services.
FEDERAL TAX DEDUCTION (National, Commercial & Multifamily) A tax deduction is available to owners of commercial buildings or systems that save at least 50% of the heating and cooling energy as compared to ASHRAE Standard 90.1-2007 (or 90.1-2001 for buildings or systems placed in service before January 1, 2018). The deduction is available for buildings or systems placed in service after December 31, 2017, through December 31, 2020. Partial deductions can also be taken for measures affecting the building envelope, lighting, or heating and cooling systems.
*LOW-INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT (LIHTC) (National, Commercial & Multifamily) The LIHTC program gives State and local LIHTC-allocating agencies the equivalent of approximately $8 billion in annual budget authority to issue tax credits for the acquisition, rehabilitation, or new construction of rental housing.
